"When a powerful earthquake struck the Sagaing and Mandalay regions of Myanmar on March 28, 2025, the devastation was immense. While the international community responded with offers of aid, the ongoing complexities within Myanmar created significant barriers. Tragically, due to restrictions and the realities of the ongoing civil conflict, much of the intended relief was unable to reach those most in need. Reports suggest that only a fraction of the aid, estimated to be 30% or less, made its way to the earthquake victims due to widespread corruption.

In the face of this dire situation, our local philanthropy community stepped forward, united by a shared commitment to our fellow citizens. We are a grassroots movement, dedicated to helping all people affected by disasters in Myanmar, without regard to their race, religion, gender, or age. Witnessing the urgent needs and the obstacles hindering aid delivery, we established this website to directly appeal for international support.
